Stained glass tool costs

For lead came works, typically you need a glass cutter, a came knife, a set of dikes to trim the came, a set of tongs, a bunch of push pins to hold the assembly in place, a heavy duty soldering iron and stuff like solder, whiting and putty. This should run you less than $100.

Optionally and highly recommended is a diamond bit glass grinder to fine tune a glass piece's edge ($100-150). Another nice tool is a T-square with a glass cutter (~$40).

All these things can be found on eBay but if you take a class it's typical for the school to include the basic tools with the tuition.
